E & S Consulting Inc. can perform hardness testing of metal and other samples in accordance with applicable ASTM Standards. Hardness testing of metals is measured on the Rockwell A, Rockwell B, and Rockwell C scales. Hardness testing of plastics and other softer materials is usually measured by means of a durometer and measured on the Rockwell D scale.
